Electric Tricycle Wholesale: An RFQ Checklist
A useful electric tricycle wholesale quotation describes the vehicle, the order and the delivery scope. Sending the same brief to each supplier makes differences easier to see. It also reduces the chance of comparing a complete vehicle with a price that excludes the battery, packing or another component.

Begin with the destination and application
State your company, destination country and the intended use of the vehicles. Include whether you are a distributor, a dealer or a project buyer. Share the delivery port or address when available, and distinguish a sample enquiry from a planned bulk order.
If the model is undecided, describe the job: goods and load dimensions for cargo vehicles, or the passenger journey and seating needs for other models. Include daily distance, road conditions and available charging time. This gives the supplier a basis for suggesting configurations rather than guessing from a photograph.
List the vehicle configuration you want quoted
Identify the model code and attach a reference image if several versions look similar. Ask the supplier to itemize the motor, controller, battery and charger. For the battery, request chemistry, voltage and capacity, and ask whether it is supplied with the vehicle or priced separately.
Add body dimensions, roof or canopy requirements, color, branding and any requested accessories. Separate essential requirements from optional items. This lets the quotation show the cost and availability of alternatives without changing the baseline vehicle.

Ask what changes with the order quantity
Give the sample quantity and expected first bulk-order quantity separately. If you are considering a mixed-model shipment, list the quantity for each model. Request the minimum order quantity for the standard vehicle and for customized options; they may not be the same.
Ask the supplier to state quotation validity, payment terms, preparation time and what event starts the lead-time calculation. Record the answers alongside the configuration. A production estimate without a defined starting point is difficult to compare with another supplier’s schedule.
Define packing and delivery scope
Ask whether the quoted vehicle is assembled, partly disassembled or supplied in another packing format. Request the packed dimensions, gross weight, packing material and loading plan for the proposed model mix. If assembly is required at destination, ask which tools, instructions and work will be needed.
Have the supplier state the delivery term and named place, plus the charges included and excluded. Discuss battery transport information with the supplier and logistics provider for the exact battery and route. Do not assume that a freight estimate for one configuration applies to every battery or packing option.
